3 tbsp cornstarch
2 tsp cinnamon

1 tbsp lemon juice
2 tbsp butter, diced
For the Glaze (Optional)
1 cup powdered sugar
2 tbsp milk
½ tsp vanilla extract
👩🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Make the Crust
Pulse flour, salt, sugar, and butter in a food processor until crumbly.
Add ice water 1 tbsp at a time until dough comes together.
Press into a 10x15-inch jelly roll pan (or 9x13-inch for thicker crust).
2. Prepare the Filling
Toss apples, sugars, cornstarch, spices, and lemon juice in a bowl.
Spread evenly over crust. Dot with butter.
3. Add Top Crust & Bake
Roll out remaining dough, place over apples, and seal edges.
Cut slits to vent. Brush with egg wash (1 egg + 1 tbsp water).
Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 45-55 mins until golden.
4. Glaze & Serve
Cool 30 mins, then drizzle with glaze (if using).
