Ingredients for an All-Natural Cockroach Repellent:
250 milliliters of detergent liquid
50 milliliters of either isopropyl alcohol or cider vinegar
Cloves, 2 tablespoons
fifty milliliters of water
Things to Do in Advance:
Simmer the cloves: Preheat 50 milliliters of water to a boil. Toss in the cloves and reduce heat to low; simmer for 10 minutes after boiling. In doing so, you release the essential oils of the cloves, which cockroaches find repulsive.
Combining Detergent with Alcohol or Vinegar:
Mix the liquid detergent with the alcohol or apple cider vinegar in a separate container. The repellent's foundation is this concoction, to which each ingredient contributes its own set of pest-repellent characteristics.
